Dear friend,
What do you do if you want to know how to improve your relationship or save it from going bad?
Where can you find someone who really wants to help you?
I looked at what information and help was available and quite frankly, I was appalled! There were many websites but nearly all were so jumbled and impossible to navigate that I decided to take them on and provide the kind of service that many people are crying out for.
So I launched my online business to satisfy that need and design my website to be easier to read and find what people were seeking. So who am I and why should you listen to what I have to say?
My name is Stephen J Vincent. I live in the UK with my Jennifer in Watford, Hertfordshire and we have the most wonderful lasting relationship possible.
We have both had less than perfect relationships before we met each other, and have since been helping many people to improve their relationships. Too many couples argue to win instead of discussing the issues and make both of them happy finding a solution that suits them perfectly.
When winning an argument, nobody wins and control begins! This is only one problem in many relationships, there are many more such as lack of trust. A relationship lacking trust is domed to eventual failure.
If you really love someone, it is vital that they also love you as loving someone who doesn't want to be with you is futile. You cannot make someone love you just because you want them to. People are free to chose who they want to love or not and nobody owns anybody, not even if they marry them.
Many books have been written on the subject of relationships and romance, but some are men blaming women while others are women blaming men. Neither of them are right, because we are both equally to blame when our relationships go wrong or fail completely.
The same is true on the websites I have looked at, blaming the opposite sex instead of looking at their own shortcomings. It takes two to make or break a relationship and unless both are willing to listen more than they speak, and communicate effectively with their partner, then disaster is just around the corner waiting to bite them both.
So what are most people looking for in regard to improving their relationships? The questions are as varied as the answers given on relationship forums, mostly very unhelpful or even insulting.
Too many are wanting someone to love them because they have feelings for that person, but as I already said, who we love is a matter of individual choice and being rejected by another does not necessarily indicate that there is something wrong with you or that you are ugly.
Arguing all the time instead of being able to resolve conflicts with discussion also puts a severe strain on any relationship. There are many reasons why conflicts arise, and lack of trust or jealousy is one of the many major causes.
Nobody should always want to win an argument, as the relationship will suffer and die. Controlling your partner is never going to keep them but eventually drive them away for good.
If someone is a cheater, nothing will prevent them from straying no matter how much you try to stop them. Either put up with it or move on, which I think is the better option, as cheaters also are liars and make poor partners.
Relationships are only really great where there is complete trust and this cannot happen right away in a new relationship but built up over a relatively short period of getting to know each other well. This can only occur if both of you work together to maintain the relationship.
It cannot work if only one of you is trying to improve the relationship. It takes a lot of understanding and a deep love of each other to keep it forever alive.
